Andrea Cabanillas – Promoted to Associate

Andrea has played a key role in strengthening Adara’s European network, contributing meaningfully to deal origination and execution, most recently with Adcities and Acoru. She has also taken on an expanding role within our Platform activities, supporting portfolio companies as they navigate early scaling challenges.

Through her curiosity, reliability and commitment, Andrea has become a core member of the investment team and a true champion of the next generation of founders. She has been instrumental in building the portfolio of our fourth fund, and we are proud to see her continued growth within the firm.

Alexei Perley – Promoted to Senior Analyst

Over the past year, Alexei has significantly deepened the firm’s thesis research and data-driven analysis, taking a leadership role across several AI initiatives. His industry deep dives are highly valued by both LPs and founders, particularly within Adara’s Energy Transition Fund.

As he takes on increased responsibilities, Alexei will expand his involvement in portfolio management, working closely with new investments including Articul8 and Wodan.

Mariam Amal – Promoted to Operations Analyst

We are delighted to share that Mariam has been promoted to Operations Analyst. In this role, she will continue to support our Finance and Operations team as we build a data-driven, scalable and efficient platform.

Mariam also plays an important role in our Platform strategy, supporting Investor Relations and the execution of our events calendar — from IC and LP conferences to our annual founders’ retreat. We are grateful for the energy, rigour and thoughtfulness she brings to everything she does.

Juan Sainz de Vicuña – Promoted to Analyst

Juan joined Adara in 2025 as a Visiting Analyst following the completion of his degree in Business Administration at IE University. We are pleased to share that he has now joined the team as a full-time Analyst.

Since joining, Juan has demonstrated a relentless work ethic and unshakeable optimism. His transition to a permanent role reflects both his impact to date and the confidence the team places in him.
