We recently held our Investor Conference 2025, a particularly meaningful edition as it marked a major milestone: 20 years since the founding of Adara Ventures.
Over the past two decades, we have had the privilege of partnering with exceptional entrepreneurs, backing visionary ideas, and building enduring relationships with our investors and broader community.
This year's conference was not just about looking back. It was a moment to thank our investors for being an essential part of our journey and look forward to what lies ahead.
The day began with Enrique Pérez-Hernández, Global Head of Technology Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley, who shared a timely and thought-provoking keynote on today’s macro trends and global outlook in 2025. His talk set the stage for discussions on how macro shifts are influencing both venture and deep tech innovation.
Our Founding Partners, Nico Goulet and Alberto Gomez, took the stage to share reflections on 20 years of Adara Ventures. It was an opportunity to celebrate the relationships, lessons, and achievements that have shaped our journey while looking ahead to the future with focus and determination.
We were excited to have Arun Subramaniyan, Founder and CEO of Articul8, join us to share his insights on Enterprise Generative AI and separating the hype from reality. He provided a candid, in-depth look at how enterprises are grappling with the promise and pitfalls of GenAI adoption.
In one of the day’s most exciting moments, our Partner Alberto Echeverri took the stage alongside Guy Gueritz, EMEA Energy Leader at NVIDIA, to announce our collaboration with NVIDIA as the first European VC to join the NVIDIA Inception VC Alliance.
This partnership connects Adara Ventures with NVIDIA’s global network, provides valuable resources to our portfolio companies, and reinforces our commitment to accelerating AI innovation. Learn more here.
Our Founding Partner, Alberto Gómez, joined Andrea Traversone from the NATO Innovation Fund and Amadeus Capital for a compelling discussion on the rise of dual-use digital technologies and the increasingly blurred lines between commercial and defense tech innovation.
Following that, Nico Goulet returned to the stage with Bjorn Tremmerie, Head of VC at the EIF, for a discussion on the EIF’s perspective on manager selection. Their conversation offered a rare and insightful look into how one of Europe’s largest institutional investors evaluates venture capital managers.
We closed the day with presentations from three startups, each demonstrating how deep tech is reshaping the world around us:
We ended the day with a cocktail dinner, reconnecting with longtime partners and welcoming new members of the Adara community.
To everyone who joined us, thank you for being a part of our story. Your support, expertise, and collaboration have helped shape Adara Ventures into what it is today. We are excited about what's ahead and look forward to building the next 20 years together.
