Across a career in consulting and industry, I've led cross-border teams where the engineering is complex and the human dynamics often more so. Over time, energy stopped being just a sector and became a conviction.
The Energy Trilemma - affordability, security, sustainability - is structurally out of balance, and fixing it will be one of the defining industrial projects of the next generation. Not through infrastructure alone, but through technologies that enable new paradigms across the energy system.
Joining Adara in 2023 was a way to put that thesis to work: the scale of the imbalance demands real innovation, and Adara is the platform to find and back the companies capable of delivering it.
The signal is clear: the energy system is being redesigned end to end generation, transmission, distribution, consumption - over the next twenty to thirty years, and atoms come first. The winning companies will pair deep software and microelectronics with sensors, hardware and edge devices to solve hard physical problems in the real world.
When I meet a company, I look for operational clarity: can we map the next twelve months precisely - the customers we'll close, the talent we'll hire, the engineering milestones we need to hit? That lens comes from more than twenty-five years as an operator, including leading large P&Ls at General Electric and Siemens Energy - restructurings, scaling high-growth businesses, launching new products, redesigning commercial organizations, building innovation programs, done internationally across every continent. At Adara, I work hand in hand with CEOs, bringing an operator's judgment to the hardest parts of scaling.
