Adara is the brightest star in Canis Major but only when measured in ultraviolet. To the naked eye, it appears dim. To the right instrument, it burns brighter than nearly anything else in the sky.

Big Vision
We back founders trying to redefine a category, not optimise one. The size of the ambition has to match the size of the problem, because the problems we invest in (the grid, clinical operations, enterprise security, the infrastructure underneath AI) don't reward incrementalism.

They reward founders who can hold a ten-year picture in their head while shipping in three-month cycles.Vision isn't market-size language. We've heard plenty of pitches that confused a big TAM for a big idea. What we're listening for is the moment the founder describes a future that doesn't exist yet, and makes us realise we've been quietly waiting for someone to build it.

Vision without execution is decoration. We've watched too many beautiful ideas die in the gap between the deck and the first hire. So we look hard at what a founder has already shipped, not just at this company, but across their career. The talks given.

The teams built. The product decisions made under pressure. The constraints turned into compounding advantage. Execution isn't speed. It's the rate at which a founder learns.
