AI was supposed to make work simpler. In most companies it has done the opposite. Rather than adopting AI with a plan, teams picked up tools one by one: each department on its own stack, company data spread across vendors nobody vetted, and costs that nobody can trace back to a decision. The result is more complexity, not less, and a growing unease about where sensitive information has ended up.
Large enterprises can throw an internal AI team at that problem. SMEs and mid-market companies usually can't. They want the productivity gains, but they don't have the in-house expertise to choose models, govern data and keep spending under control at the same time.
Goodweek is the AI Manager for businesses. It gives companies access to best-in-class models with sovereign data and centralised control, so leadership knows which tools are in use, where the data lives and what it costs. No in-house AI expertise is required.
The way it reaches customers matters as much as the product. Goodweek is deployed and managed by the IT provider a company already trusts, rather than sold as one more tool for each team to adopt on its own.
Goodweek was founded by Guillaume Nominé (CEO) and Nicolas Stehle, two founders who each sold their previous company in 2022. Guillaume founded Atolia, a digital workplace for SMEs that was acquired by SaaS Labs, the company behind JustCall. Nicolas founded Scalefast, an Adara portfolio company acquired by ESW. Both studied computer science at ENSIIE, and Nicolas has mentored Guillaume for more than ten years.
They have brought people from both companies into Goodweek, pairing Atolia's experience building collaboration products for SMEs with Scalefast's experience running complex infrastructure at scale. That combination matters for a product that has to be simple for end users and robust for the IT providers who run it.
For us, this investment is also a reunion. We backed Nicolas at Scalefast and have seen first-hand how he executes. Backing a founder a second time is one of the clearest signals of conviction an investor can give, and it is not one we give lightly.
Two things convinced us beyond the team. The first is distribution. SMEs and mid-market companies already buy their technology through IT providers, so building on that channel puts Goodweek where the buying decision is actually made, instead of asking each customer to build a new relationship with a new vendor.
The second is trust. For AI to become part of how teams work every day, companies need to know where their data lives and who controls it. Without that, adoption stays shallow and fragmented. Sovereign data and centralised control are the layer that makes broader, everyday use possible, which is exactly the kind of Trusted AI Infrastructure we want to back.
We are proud to lead Goodweek's $12M Seed round, alongside Anamcara, BGV (Benhamou Global Ventures), BY Venture Partners, CentraleSupélec Venture, FJ Labs, Interlace Ventures and True Ventures, with the support of Bpifrance.
Congratulations to Guillaume, Nicolas and the whole Goodweek team. We are very happy to be working with Nicolas again, and to be starting this journey with Guillaume.
