Revenue management software has been around in hospitality for decades. Walk into most hotels outside the big chains, though, and pricing still lives in spreadsheets and in a revenue manager's head. There is more to weigh every year: competitor rates, channel costs, demand signals, events in town, and all the revenue that happens outside the room. No one should have to hold all of that in their head.
BEONx is an AI-driven revenue management system for medium and large hotels, including independents, urban chains and resorts. It forecasts demand, recommends prices and restrictions by room type, rate plan and segment, and automates much of the daily work of setting rates across channels.
Its secret weapon is the Hotel Quality Index (HQi). The HQi scores a property's facilities, services and online reputation, weighted by what matters to different guests. BEONx uses that score to judge where a hotel really stands against its competitors and how much room it has on price.
The newest layer is BEONx Live, a real-time intelligence module. It is designed to make the RMS proactive and dynamic, keeping it continuously in step with what is happening in the market. BEONx says hotels using the platform save up to 40 hours of manual work per month, shorten lead times and see measurable RevPAR uplift.
Around that core, the platform pulls a hotel's data into one place. It connects to the main property management systems, channel managers, booking engines and BI tools. BEONx calls where it is heading a Total Profit Platform: managing a hotel for profit across every revenue stream, not just RevPAR and occupancy.
BEONx began in Salamanca, Spain. Its founders, one an astrophysicist and one a computer engineer, looked at how hotels were setting prices and saw a lot of manual work that didn't need to be manual. Today BEONx serves more than 1,500 clients in over 30 countries, including brands such as Barceló, GHL, Sowell and Sercotel.
The past year has added momentum:
Most hotels are sitting on better pricing decisions than the ones they make today. The data is already there; it just isn't being used. BEONx was built by people who understand the maths and the hospitality business equally well, and that combination is rarer than it sounds. That's what Deep Domain Computation means to us, and we're excited to keep going with them.
