Backstory
On the lookout for

I was born and raised in Alicante, right by the sea, though my family roots trace back to Morocco. Growing up between these two cultures taught me, from a young age, the value of hard work and the importance of thinking for myself. Watching my parents tirelessly build a real estate business in Morocco gave me a practical mindset, a deep respect for structure, and the drive to question things rather than accept them blindly. My career began, naturally, in Madrid's highly competitive property market - an intense training ground that taught me how people operate under pressure and how to solve problems quickly.

Eventually I craved a change of pace and a push outside my comfort zone, which led me to venture capital. Joining Adara was a great pivot: it's a fascinating space where you see how capital helps new ideas grow, and what I value most is that I can bring my authentic self to work every day - extroverted, direct, and entirely focused on learning from the team.

While others focus on macro tech trends, my focus is fiercely practical: making sure the essential internal operations run perfectly. I handle billing and administration, making sure documents never get stuck. I firmly believe clear internal processes aren't just back-office tasks - they're the vital foundation that gives the team the peace of mind to take risks, and lets everyone else focus on what they do best.

I recharge by reading contemporary literature by women to explore roots and identity, and by taking long, camera-in-hand walks across Madrid - noticing the details most people rush past.
