I grew up in Spain, but my education took me across Europe - Business Administration between Spain and France, then a Master's spanning Nantes, Bilbao and Bradford. Those transitions taught me something crucial: perspective fundamentally shifts once you cross a border. That cross-border lens became the foundation of my career, where I spent over a decade perfecting the craft of finance within multinationals like Repsol, Dragados and FCC. After two formative years in the US leading finance at a Dragados subsidiary, I realized I was genuinely good at managing complex structures, international teams and high stakes.
Yet somewhere along the way, I discovered that what energized me most wasn't the sheer scale of these organizations - it was the moments of creation, when clarity directly unlocks action. That realization led me to Adara: the place where my skills finally met my purpose, and where finance connects directly to founder success, portfolio growth and real impact.
At Adara, I lead our finance function not as a support center, but as the backbone of our growth strategy. I'm obsessed with architecting the financial systems that let us move faster, understand our portfolio more deeply, and ensure our infrastructure scales seamlessly with our ambition. I hold a deep conviction that finance is a true leadership function: we don't merely report on growth, we actively enable it.
I believe clarity is power, and that the best financial decisions stem from transparent, accessible information rather than spreadsheet complexity. My international experience has also taught me that while having the best processes is vital, they mean nothing without a team that understands why they matter. Outside of work, I travel constantly. I've learned more about resilience, creativity and problem-solving wandering through Barcelona, New York and Mexico City than from any business book.
