Introducing FLUZO: the innovative cross-media audience measurement intelligence solution

FLUZO, an Audience Measurement Intelligence startup from Madrid, UK, recently announced that it had raised €1.25m from Adara Ventures and Sabadell Venture Capital.

Since initially backing the team in their early seed round, we at Adara have been impressed by the dedication of the team to building an innovative proprietary tech offering. We are excited to partner with the business as they accelerate their international expansion across Europe and into Mexico.

A new class of data driving cross-media advertising intelligence

The FLUZO proposition is a Technology as a Service solution that is integrated into mobile applications from third party research panels or enterprises. The technology transforms the mobile phone into a passive meter that reacts to the unique digital characteristics of audiovisual content emitted by nearby device, including linear or on demand TV, online TV, Digital Video, Radio, Digital audio or other formats.

Our proprietary audio fingerprinting technology uncovers a whole new class of data for brands and media agencies that are currently flying blind with regards to cross-media advertising research. Our mission is simple: to make cross-media measurement more intelligent.

The FLUZO tech is currently used by enterprises, agencies, market research groups, and media owners to accurately understand audience behaviour in real-time. Demand is driven primarily by:

  • The Advertising and Audience Measurement industry has changed considerably in recent years. Whilst growing considerably, increased fragmentation and proliferation of media channels, content platforms and devices have driven changing habits in media consumption. Eyeballs have shifted from core media and as advertising spend follows them, so does the need to measure audience engagement.
  • Traditional audience measurement tools and panels are static, deliberate and produce linear datasets and insights, normally with a time lag. In the new landscape, these tools are no longer fit for all purposes.
  • At an aggregated level, FLUZO enables clients to understand impact, reach and quality of cross-device campaigns and content within a single source panel. The solution is fully GDPR compliant.
